Katy Perry and Tom Holland are not known to be dating, collaborating, or personally connected. As of September 2026, verified reporting shows that Perry is in a relationship with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, while Holland is married to actress Zendaya.
Their names have appeared together largely because entertainment and business coverage has grouped them into the same celebrity trends, particularly the growing market for non-alcoholic drinks. Perry co-founded De Soi, while Holland co-founded Bero, but these are separate companies with no announced partnership between them.
Are Katy Perry and Tom Holland Actually Connected?
There is currently no credible evidence of a romantic relationship, joint entertainment project, business partnership, or publicly established close friendship between Katy Perry and Tom Holland.
That distinction matters because celebrity search trends can create the impression that two people are connected simply because their names repeatedly appear in the same articles, videos, social posts, or recommendation feeds.
The clearest genuine overlap between Perry and Holland is much less dramatic. Both became celebrity entrepreneurs in the alcohol-free beverage sector.
| Topic | Katy Perry | Tom Holland |
|---|---|---|
| Primary career | Singer and performer | Actor |
| Alcohol-free brand | De Soi | Bero |
| Brand category | Non-alcoholic aperitifs and functional drinks | Premium non-alcoholic beer |
| Public relationship in 2026 | Justin Trudeau | Zendaya |
| Joint project together | None verified | None verified |
Recent beverage-industry coverage has explicitly discussed both stars as examples of celebrities building businesses in the alcohol-free category. That explains at least part of why search engines and content platforms increasingly associate their names.
Why Are People Searching for Katy Perry and Tom Holland Together?
The phrase Katy Perry and Tom Holland appears to be driven more by digital association than by a major real-world event involving the pair.
There are several reasons this can happen.
Celebrity roundups frequently combine unrelated famous people around one theme. Perry and Holland, for example, have been included in the same coverage of non-alcoholic drink brands. Inc. has identified Perry as a founder behind De Soi, while industry publications regularly mention Holland’s Bero in the same broader market.
Entertainment coverage creates another connection. Articles and podcasts discussing multiple celebrity couples can mention Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau alongside Tom Holland and Zendaya. The names may therefore occur close together even though the two celebrities themselves are not a couple.
Search algorithms can strengthen the association after enough people begin searching the names together. Fan edits, aggregation pages, automated recommendations and rewritten celebrity stories can then make an initially weak connection look more significant than it really is.
The important point is that shared search results are not evidence of a shared relationship.
The Real Business Link Between Katy Perry and Tom Holland
The strongest verifiable similarity between them is their involvement in alcohol-free beverages.
Katy Perry Co-Founded De Soi
Perry co-founded De Soi with distiller Morgan McLachlan. According to Inc., the pair began developing the business after meeting in 2020 while both were pregnant.
De Soi was built around sophisticated non-alcoholic drinks rather than a traditional celebrity liquor brand. Inc. reported that the company raised a $4 million seed round in July 2022 and later expanded into thousands of retail locations.
Perry has been more than an advertising face for the company. Her Inc. founder profile identifies her as part of De Soi’s leadership and recognized her on the publication’s 2024 Female Founders list.
The brand has continued expanding. BeverageDaily reported in September 2026 that De Soi had introduced a Social Spritz line alongside its existing alcohol-free products.
Tom Holland Co-Founded Bero
Holland entered the category later with Bero, a premium non-alcoholic beer brand launched in 2024.
Beverage-industry reporting describes Holland as a co-founder of Bero and links the project to his decision to stop drinking alcohol. The brand initially focused on alcohol-free beer varieties rather than the botanical aperitif format used by De Soi.
The similarity is therefore real, but limited:
Perry and Holland are participants in the same growing consumer category. They are not known to be business partners.
There has been no verified announcement of a De Soi and Bero collaboration, investment relationship, shared ownership structure or joint campaign.
Are Katy Perry and Tom Holland Dating?
No credible reporting supports that claim.
Katy Perry’s publicly documented relationship in 2026 is with Justin Trudeau, who served as Canada’s prime minister from 2015 until 2025.
Early speculation began after Perry and Trudeau were seen having dinner in Montreal in July 2025. At that stage, the Associated Press correctly treated the nature of the meeting as uncertain and reported that restaurant staff had observed no obvious public display of affection.
The situation later became much clearer.
By June 2026, Trudeau himself publicly described having “supportive boyfriend duties” while attending Perry’s performance at the FIFA World Cup opener in California. The Associated Press consequently referred to Perry as his girlfriend.
Recent September reporting continues to describe Perry and Trudeau as a couple.
There is therefore no factual basis for presenting Perry and Holland as a romantic pairing.
Tom Holland Is Married to Zendaya
Tom Holland’s relationship status is also well established.
Holland and Zendaya first became connected professionally through the modern Spider-Man films. Their relationship later became public, and they became engaged before quietly marrying.
In June 2026, Holland effectively confirmed that the wedding had taken place while discussing AI-generated images falsely presented as pictures from his wedding. Asked whether other members of his family needed to be told that the circulating images were fake, Holland explained that they already knew because they had attended the real event.
Zendaya later gave another public acknowledgement when a fan proposed marriage to her at a July Spider-Man event and she responded that the fan was “too late.”
More recent reporting has continued to identify Holland and Zendaya as husband and wife. People, for example, reported that the married couple attended Jacob Batalon’s August 2026 wedding celebration in France.
This further rules out online speculation that attempts to frame Holland and Perry as a real celebrity romance.
Katy Perry’s Current Career in 2026
Perry remains active in music and live entertainment.
Her official website currently lists additional 2026 performances, including the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Baku on September 25 and Festival Presidente in Santo Domingo on December 12.
Her recent recorded output includes the 2026 single “Watch It Burn.“ Apple Music lists it as a June 25, 2026 release.
Perry has also experienced renewed attention around older material. “The One That Got Away,” originally released during the Teenage Dream era, returned strongly through social media and global streaming interest during 2026.
Her Lifetimes Tour was also turned into a concert film, Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris, released theatrically in September 2026.
None of these projects has a verified connection to Tom Holland.
Tom Holland’s Current Career in 2026
Holland, meanwhile, remains closely associated with Peter Parker and Spider-Man.
Sony Pictures lists him as the lead of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, alongside Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando and Mark Ruffalo.
The film became one of the defining theatrical releases of 2026. Associated Press reporting in early September said it had remained No. 1 at the box office for six consecutive weeks and had reached approximately $2.4 billion globally.
Holland also appeared as Telemachus in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, another major 2026 theatrical release.
Again, Katy Perry has no verified role in these productions.
Have Katy Perry and Tom Holland Ever Worked Together?
No confirmed major collaboration between them has been documented.
There is no verified film starring both Perry and Holland, no song credited to both, no announced advertising partnership and no known joint business venture.
It is possible for two highly famous entertainers to attend the same large industry functions at different times or share mutual professional contacts. That should not be confused with evidence of a meaningful working relationship.
Without a confirmed credit, public statement, corporate announcement or documented appearance involving both stars, claims that they have collaborated should be treated cautiously.
Why Their Alcohol-Free Brands Are an Interesting Comparison
Although Perry and Holland are not working together, their businesses illustrate a broader change in celebrity branding.
For years, high-profile celebrity beverage ventures were heavily associated with tequila, wine, vodka and other alcoholic products. The growth of non-alcoholic alternatives has opened another market.
Industry publications have repeatedly grouped Perry’s De Soi and Holland’s Bero with other celebrity-backed alcohol-free brands.
Their approaches are different.
De Soi positions itself closer to the aperitif and spritz experience, using botanical ingredients and sophisticated flavor profiles. Bero is designed around beer and offers alcohol-free versions of familiar beer styles.
This industry overlap is a genuine reason to discuss Katy Perry and Tom Holland together. It does not imply a personal connection.
Why Celebrity Pairing Rumors Spread So Easily
The Perry and Holland search trend is also a useful example of how modern celebrity misinformation develops.
A headline does not need to claim two celebrities are dating for readers to make that assumption. Simply placing their names beside one another can create an association.
The effect becomes stronger when:
- search engines notice people entering both names
- social platforms recommend related celebrity videos
- publishers create articles targeting the combined search phrase
- fan accounts combine unrelated photographs or clips
- AI-generated material makes fictional events look authentic
Holland’s own experience with fake AI wedding images demonstrates how difficult celebrity verification has become. Those images became sufficiently convincing that even his grandmother initially misunderstood what she was seeing.
For celebrity relationship claims, direct comments, reputable reporting, identifiable photographs from real events and official professional credits remain far more valuable than viral posts.
What Is Actually Verified About Katy Perry and Tom Holland?
The reliable picture is straightforward.

Tom Holland is an actor and entrepreneur who co-founded non-alcoholic beer company Bero. He is married to his longtime Spider-Man co-star Zendaya.
Both are prominent entertainers. Both have entered the alcohol-free drinks market. Both regularly appear in celebrity news.
